Self-Care Resources

We know firsthand that caregivers need to take care of themselves, too. As nurses, we are often so dedicated to the wellness of others that it can be easy to forget to take time for ourselves. But self-care in our profession is essential to success and well-being.

During a pandemic that is stretching nurses thin, asking them to step into various roles, and requiring them to take on new responsibilities, self-care is more important than ever. Explore these resources that can help you stay well during this time and throughout your nursing career.

Orientation and Beginning the Program

Onboarding and Student Support Assistance

Soon after you submit your enrollment deposit, an onboarding specialist will reach out to you to schedule your orientation. During that meeting, they will acclimate you to the program, help you become familiar with the online classroom technology, and assist you with registering for your first term of classes.

After program orientation, you will be connected with a student success advisor. This dedicated support professional will be your primary point person who will assist you with registration and technology for the duration of the program. Your student success advisor will also serve as your liaison to the other support resources available to you at Simmons University.

You may contact the student support team directly at 855-465-7466 or studentsupport@onlinenursing.simmons.edu. Your specialist will share their direct contact information with you once you complete the program orientation.

Speak With a Student Ambassador

You can start connecting with the Simmons community now — schedule a one-on-one conversation with one of our student ambassadors! You’ll be able to hear directly from a current student and learn about what life is like in the program. Email studentambassadors@onlinenursing.simmons.edu to connect with an ambassador.
