Nursing@Simmons offers online nursing degrees from Simmons School of Nursing for motivated registered nurses (RNs) seeking to further their careers. Our programs are designed to prepare students with diverse academic and professional backgrounds for advanced roles as nurse leaders.

The baccalaureate, master's, and DNP programs at Simmons are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Nursing@Simmons programs include:

  • RN to MSN: a Master of Science in Nursing designed for RNs who do not hold a bachelor’s degree
  • MSN: a Master of Science in Nursing designed for RNs who hold a bachelor’s degree
  • Post-MSN to DNP: a Doctor of Nursing Practice designed for advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who hold an MSN

Nursing@Simmons programs prepare you to pass your boards and advance to the next level in your career through a rigorous curriculum complemented by immersive clinical experiences. Each program features live, online classes and clinical placements at sites in or near your own community.

As an online student, you will receive support from a dedicated placement specialist who will partner with you to help find a placement in your area of clinical interest. As of January 2019, our dedicated placement team has helped students secure more than 4,600 clinical placements across more than 10,000 clinical networks.
